Hampshire Birds – update on records of rare/scarce birds submitted to HOS Records Panel and British Birds Rarities Committee.

This list has been compiled following the HOSRP meeting in May 2009 and a further circulation of late records. This list includes records of bird seen in 2008 plus any late records from earlier years. All records refer to single birds unless stated otherwise. Notes are still required for several 2008 and earlier records, as well as 2009, and the HOSRP urges observers to submit details to the County Recorder, preferably in electronic format. Recording forms can be obtained from the recorder (contact details at end of this list) or from the HOS website
