Welch are operating a
Retrapping
Adults for Survival (RAS) scheme in the New Forest involving
colour ringing all the stonechats in the Black Gutter Bottom and
Beaulieu Road areas. In 2001 they ringed over 100 stonechats. The
stonechats have three colour rings and a BTO metal ring. Sightings of
these birds should be sent to Andy Welch, 15 Wiltshire Road,
Chandler's Ford, Eastleigh SO53 3FB or telephoned to 02380 900520 or
emailed. Details required are date, six figure OS reference and the
rings on each leg.
