Records of sightings should be sent to either

John Clark, the County Recorder
email

address: 4 Cygnet Court, Old Cove Road, Fleet GU51 2RL
telephone: 01252 623397

or

Keith Betton, the Assistant County Recorder
email

address: 8 Dukes Close, Folly Hill, Farnham, Surrey GU9 0DR
telephone: 01252 724068.

Recent sightings, which can also be emailed to hoslist, are published in the Newsletter. Records for inclusion in the annual Bird Report must be documented, preferably on official forms.

Guidelines for the Submission of Records (pdf), a Gazetteer of Sites (pdf) with their OS references and a New Recording Form (Instructions to complete are here) are available as MS Excel documents (right click on the new recording form above and "Save target as" to download). Rare and scarce birds should be described on an Unusual Records Form (in MS Word format). The MS Excel Recording Form can be emailed to the recorders (please bear in mind the size of a completed recording form when emailing). There are also HTML and pdf versions of the Gazetteer. The HTML version has hyperlinks to maps of the sites.
