2007-11 Bird Atlas – How can I help ?

close window

If you’ve read about the planned methods for the Atlas, and you’d like to help with the two-hour Timed Tetrad Visits, then please contact me as soon as possible.  We would like to get as many tetrads as possible assigned to individual observers well before summer 2007.

Please email me with a list of all the tetrads where you’d like to do the counts at some time during the four-year project.  Remember though, that each tetrad only needs covering in one year (two visits summer and two visits in winter), so it shouldn’t be too difficult for you to do up to (say) twelve tetrads.  That would be three tetrads per year – six summer outings and six winter outings.

See the “tetrad letters and numbers” bit of the website for an easy way of referring to tetrads.
