Newsletter
The Kingfisher is a full colour magazine with articles and news about birds in Hampshire – and sometimes further afield. It is published three times per year.
Annual Bird Report
Members receive a copy of the annual Bird Report, which is usually published toward the end of the following year. The latest edition, Hampshire Bird Report 2020, was published in November 2021. Members’ Day
A half day conference, which includes the AGM, with talks, sales stands, refreshments and a chance to meet like-minded people. It is open to non-members for a small entry charge. Meetings Programme
There are outdoor meetings held every month, led by a knowledgeable and experienced birdwatcher, and occasional indoor meetings in the winter. We have also recently started a series of online talks. See Walks and Events page.
HOS clothing
HOS logoed clothing, including fleeces, sweatshirts and polo shirts are also available from our Sales Officers.
Participate in surveys
HOS undertakes surveys both independently and in collaboration with other bodies throughout the year. New observers are always welcome. See Surveys page.
